Spacelab Ignition
Enter the future of immersive reverb.Highend immersive reverb on any DAW
The Fiedler Audio workflow is what really sets it apart from others. You can keep your entire creative track creation open and available from the demo, to final, to stereo and Atmos mix. All while staying in your original creative DAW. Changing panning, levels, or effects never need to be compromised by getting locked into pre-mixes.

Whoever thinks Spacelab is a 3D panner or a very good-sounding 3D reverb is both totally right and completely missing the point. Spacelab simply aims to completely re-imagine the way 3D sound is approached. No more, no less. Love it.

The creative workflow is just amazing. With Dolby Atmos Composer, the 3D reverb Spacelab, and finally the Mastering Console with gravitas MDS dynamics you get breathtaking results fast. I love the fact that you can easily expand your existing stereo mixes to Atmos or even mix in Stereo and Atmos at the same time.

What makes Spacelab outstanding is that it is so easy to use on the one hand and can be so complex on the other. The innovative workflow allows creative possibilities and combinations that I don't know from any other tool. Due to Spacelab, I gained new inspiration about mixing in 3d space and had a blast during the whole process.

Unrivalled sound quality
Developed at the famous Fraunhofer IIS, the inventors of MP3, the immersive reverb algorithm of Spacelab is sonically on par with the top tier of reverbs on the market. Ultra realistic spatial impression and a lush but crystal clear decay are available for any given room size.
Really any format
Spacelab Ignition delivers on any given speaker layout, from stereo to 3D full sphere. If your layout is not among the extensive output preset list, you can create one fitting your needs. A superb binaural algorithm enables you to listen to and render any speaker layout onto your headphones.
The goto reverb for Dolby Atmos
Being the only reverb plug-in which directly connects to the Dolby Atmos Composer on any DAW (even stereo only DAWs), Spacelab stands out among all other reverbs. Render reverb to any speaker layout for your Dolby Atmos mix and Spacelab sources can become dynamic objects in Dolby Atmos with one simple click.
Object based heaven
Spacelab Ignition is capable of processing up to 24 inputs and can render to arbitrary speaker layouts of up to 24 channels. The inputs become objects in the virtual room and can be placed around the listener in any direction (full sphere). The listener itself enjoys 3 d.o.f. while moving around.
Every source is unique
Every object in a real environment has a unique position depending pattern of early reflections which adds to it's spatial perception. Spacelab takes immersive reverb rendering to the next level by incorporating this effect dynamically for all objects, even while moving around, a feature not to be found in any other reverb plug-in.
Verdict
The gravitas MDS module and the Spacelab plugin work together in Dolby Atmos Composer to deliver what I think is one of the best Dolby Atmos workflow management systems out there. Not only does this ecosystem ensure the best possible quality with all spatial information included in the mix, but it also enables you to use DAWs that have none or partial support for the Dolby Atmos workflow.
